Data deletion

Delete your DewGrow data

DewGrow is made by Cardrama, LLC. There are no DewGrow accounts, so almost everything lives on your own phone and is yours to delete. Here is every place your data can be, and how to remove it.

Erase everything from inside the app

Open DewGrow, go to Settings, and tap Erase me. It deletes your garden, photos, schedules, settings and keys from your phone and, if you subscribe, your license record and usage counts on our server. This is immediate and permanent.

Or delete it from your phone

Uninstalling DewGrow deletes everything the app stored on your phone. To delete it but keep the app installed on Android: Settings > Apps > DewGrow > Storage > Clear data. On iPhone, delete and reinstall the app.

Cancel a subscription first (if you subscribe)

Deleting data does not cancel a subscription. Cancel in Google Play (Play Store > profile > Payments and subscriptions > Subscriptions) or on iPhone (Settings > your name > Subscriptions).

Ask us to delete your server record

If you used a subscription and cannot use Erase me, email admin@cardrama.gg with the subject "DewGrow data deletion" and include your license key, which only your phone shows (Settings, then your subscription). The key is what proves the record is yours. We delete the record within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted: everything on your phone (with Erase me, on uninstall, or by clearing data), and on request your license record and any bug reports, ideas, or flagged answers you sent us (tell us roughly when, and the email you used if you gave one).
Never stored by us, so nothing to delete: plant photos, the words you type or say about a plant, your location, and the answers from AI features. They are processed to answer your request and not kept by DewGrow.
Kept by others: Google Play and Apple keep their own records of purchases under their policies. If you use your own AI key, that request also goes to the provider you chose (Google Gemini, Groq, or Pl@ntNet) under your account and their retention policy. Your phone's own backup (Google or Apple) may hold a copy of your garden; that copy is in your Google or Apple account, not with us.
Retention: we keep only the license record (with its monthly usage counts, up to 13 months), flagged answers (12 months), and bug reports and ideas you chose to send (2 years). We delete any of them within 30 days of your request.
